About Us

Fiberoptic Fabrications Inc (FFI) was incorporated in Massachusetts in 1995. The company received SBIR grants from the US Government. The company cites the US Army CECOM, US Air Force, US Navy, and Naval Research Labs among its many clients as well as being a fiber optic resource for the Trident Missile.

The company developed various laser products including the first commercial 980 diode lasers for Urology, leg veins, laser fat removal, and a triage laser to stop traumatic bleeding. Among other firsts, a 1470 laser for leg veins and a 980/1470 combinations laser for Urology as well as  the commercialization of a 532 frequency doubled YAG laser for ophthalmology.  The company boasts novel products for Industrial markets and leading changes in the medical markets.

In the 1990’s, FFI was a “think tank” company and by 2000 had commercialized its expertise from optical fiber to lasers and laser delivery systems. Today, the company sells products under its own LaseWiseTM, SideWiseTM, and LithoWiseTM brands,  as well as OEM products. It counts the largest laser companies in the world among its customers.
